Q. Can I ship items with my car?
A. A few items are ok as long as they do not exceed 70 pounds, are not items of high value and are not household items. It is illegal for auto transporters to transport household goods; and they can be heavily fined if caught. Also, items in vehicles are not covered by the insurance of transporters. Q. Why does it cost more to ship my truck versus shipping a car?

Q. Can you ship my car if it is not operable?
A. Yes. However, additional fees will apply because extra equipment and labor are needed to maneuver your vehicle.
Q. How does the payment process work for shipping a car with Ship A Car ASAP?
A. After your vehicles has been scheduled, a deposit will be charged to the card provided with your order to secure your spot on the trailer. The remaining balance will be due in the form of cash, or other certified funds at pickup or delivery.
Q. How should I prepare my vehicle for auto transport?
A. Disconnect auto alarms and anti-theft systems. Remove any accessories such as car bras, CB antennas, low spoilers, etc.

A. Yes. Ship A Car ASAP can ship inoperable vehicles for enclosed as well as open trailers. As long as it rolls, brakes and steers, we can get it done.
Q. How much advance notification do you need to ship my car?
A. We ask that customers try to give us at least a week, but that not always the case. So here are a few facts. Over 95% of our customers' vehicles are scheduled within 1-3 days of them placing the order. Over 90% are picked up and delivered within a week with the exception of coast to coast shipping. Coast to coast shipping generally takes 7-10 days to deliver once picked up. Shipping to rural towns off the interstate can affect shipping time. Therefore, you should plan accordingly.
